Patrick Chao has served as Of Counsel to the Law Office of Daniel H. Galindo since January of 2021. Mr. Chao previously worked in the corporate sector and has developed a unique perspective
on corporate operations, and the ways in which they facilitate employee terminations, reductions in force, and other employment decisions. Mr. Chao has witnessed first hand the
ways in which some corporations may utilize pretextual means as the basis for unlawfully terminating hard working and deserving employees. These experiences inspired Mr. Chao to
utilize his knowledge to advocate on behalf of mistreated employees.

Since joining Mr. Galindo’s legal team, Mr. Chao has developed a reputation for his zealous advocacy in ensuring the rights of employees, and holding corporations accountable for
unlawful employment actions. Mr. Chao has successfully represented employees who are subjected to workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other unlawful
treatment.

In addition to supporting Mr. Galindo’s employment practice. Mr. Chao advises start-ups and provides expertise and counseling in corporate governance, commercial transactions, and
regulatory compliance. Mr. Chao’s corporate experience provides unique insight for the representation of individuals bringing claims against corporations or other individuals
associated with corporations.

Prior to beginning service as Of Counsel to the Law Office of Daniel H. Galindo, Mr. Chao was an associate at DLA Piper LLP (US). During his time at DLA Piper, Mr. Chao was part of DLA
Piper’s Corporate & Securities transaction conducting legal diligence in the context of mergers & acquisitions, venture capital financings, and other investment vehicles.
Prior to his time at DLA Piper, Mr. Chao clerked for the California Attorney General’s Civil Division in the Health, Education, and Welfare Section. Mr. Chao was also previously part of
the Labor & Employment Litigation Boutique Carothers DiSante & Freudenberger LLP Mr. Chao received his Juris Doctor degree from University of California, Hastings College of
the Law, where he was a member, teaching assistant, and competitor in U.C. Hastings’ Nationally recognized Moot Court Program and from which he graduated with distinction
(cum laude). He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego, with a degree in Political Science with a focus on Public Policy and Law.

In his free time, Mr. Chao has become an hiker, self-proclaimed chef, and micro-brew connoisseur.
